Privacy Policy — PocketCherries™
PocketCherries™ is committed to protecting visitor privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available regarding personal data when using our free Texas Hold'em poker training application.
Information We Collect
PocketCherries™ does not require registration or sign-up. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personal identification information. The app generates a random visitor ID stored in the browser's localStorage to track gameplay sessions and coaching history locally on the device. This identifier stays on the machine and is never shared with third parties.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with the app. This includes anonymous data such as page views, session duration, device type, and general geographic region. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google. Visitors can opt out of Google Analytics by using a browser extension or disabling cookies in the browser settings.
Cookies
PocketCherries™ uses essential cookies for basic functionality. No advertising, remarketing, or third-party tracking cookies are used beyond the minimal analytics described above.
Your Rights
Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to delete or export. Clearing the browser's localStorage permanently removes all local gameplay data.
Third-Party Services
PocketCherries™ uses OpenAI's API to power the AI coaching feature. During a practice hand, the game state and decisions are sent to OpenAI for analysis. No personal information is included in these requests. OpenAI's data usage policy applies to the processing of coaching requests. We also use Google Fonts to deliver the typefaces used throughout the interface. Google may collect basic usage data when fonts are loaded.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with the updated date. We encourage visitors to review this page periodically to stay informed about data handling practices.
