Overview

PocketCherries™ is a free Texas Hold'em poker training application. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The Service

PocketCherries™ is an educational tool. All chips and stakes in the app are play money: there is no real-money wagering, no prizes, and no gambling of any kind. The service is intended for users 18 and older. Coaching feedback is educational commentary, not professional or financial advice, and does not guarantee results at real tables.

Purchases

No account or sign-up is required to use the app. Some optional features (such as the coaching pass) are one-time purchases processed securely by Stripe; the price is always shown before you pay. Purchases unlock digital features only.

Text Messaging (SMS) Program

PocketCherries™ offers an optional texting feature that lets you link your US mobile phone number to text yourself poker study notes and receive coaching replies. Texting is never required to use the app or to make any purchase, and consent to receive texts is not a condition of any transaction.

• Enrollment: You opt in through a web form in the app by checking an unchecked consent box and then confirming a 6-digit verification code we text to your number (double opt-in). See how SMS opt-in works.
• What we send: verification codes, confirmations of notes you text us, and coaching replies to questions you text us. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
• Message frequency varies and is mostly driven by the texts you send; daily limits apply.
• Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.
• Opting out: Reply STOP to any message to cancel at any time. You can re-enroll later from the app.
• Help: Reply HELP to any message, or reach us via the contact page.
• US mobile numbers only. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Phone numbers and messages are handled as described in our privacy policy.

Acceptable Use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to disrupt or overload the site, no scraping at scale, no use of the coaching or texting features for unlawful purposes, and no abusive content in notes or messages. We may suspend access or the texting feature for abuse.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PocketCherries™ is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including decisions made at real poker tables.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
