PocketCherries is a free Texas Hold'em poker training application. By using the site, you agree to these terms.

The Service

PocketCherries is an educational tool. All chips and stakes are play money: no real-money wagering, no prizes, and no gambling of any kind. The service is intended for users 18 and older. Coaching feedback is educational commentary, not professional advice, and does not guarantee results at real tables.

Purchases

No account or sign-up is required. Optional one-time purchases (such as the coaching pass) are processed securely by Stripe, with the price always shown before payment. Purchases unlock digital features only.

Text Messaging (SMS) Program

PocketCherries offers an optional texting feature that lets players link a US mobile number to text themselves poker study notes and receive coaching replies. Consent to receive texts is never required to use the app or to make a purchase. Enrollment is by web form: the player checks an unchecked consent box, then confirms a 6-digit verification code we text them (double opt-in). See how SMS opt-in works.

We send verification codes, confirmations of notes players text us, and coaching replies to questions players text us. We do not send marketing or promotional messages. Message frequency varies and daily limits apply. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or HELP for help; support is also available via the contact page. US mobile numbers only. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Phone numbers and messages are handled as described in the privacy policy.

Acceptable Use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to disrupt the site, no large-scale scraping, and no unlawful or abusive use of the coaching or texting features. We may suspend access for abuse.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PocketCherries is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including decisions made at real poker tables.

Changes to These Terms

Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the service after changes means acceptance of the updated terms.
